This is the first time im designing an optical system to go along with a mechanical design so i''m a bit clueless.
The need is part\shape idenefication ,basicaly mapping out the general shape and outlines of a specific object.
Specs required:
640X480
very low cost
as miniature as possible
I''m looking to send the processed data to a micro processor which will activate verious mechanical axis'' acording to the info.
